What is Social Connections?

Meet new people, try something different and get out and about in your community.

Kurrajong Social Connections brings people together through regular social groups, activities and special events. Whether you want to meet new people, build friendships, try something new or simply get out and have some fun, there’s plenty to get involved in.

Choose from our regular Social Connections groups or keep an eye on what’s coming up for special events, outings and new experiences throughout the year.

Regular Social Connections Groups

Our regular Social Connections groups give you the chance to catch up, get involved in activities and spend time with people who share your interests.

Masterchef

Love cooking or keen to build your confidence in the kitchen? Join our weekly MasterChef Groups to learn new recipes, prepare delicious meals and build practical skills and independence in a fun, supportive environment. You’ll make meaningful connections along the way.

Wellness Crew

Get active, try something new and connect with others at Wednesday Wellness Crew! Enjoy a Salti Fitness workout at the pool, followed by a healthy lunch out with the group.

Friday Mates

Designed for older gents looking to enjoy good company, Friday Mates is a relaxed evening of great meals, local pubs and plenty of conversation. It’s the perfect opportunity to catch up with mates, support local businesses and build lasting friendships in a welcoming environment.

Girls Day Out

Girls Day Out Club is a welcoming monthly Saturday group for women who love making friends, exploring the community and trying new things. It builds confidence, encourages community participation and creates meaningful connections, with a chance for fun and lasting memories together.

Wagga troopers

Spend your Thursday out and about with the Wagga Troopers! Enjoy a different activity each week, including day trips, community outings, workshops and new experiences.

Friday Night Social Group

Kick off your weekend with our Friday Night Social Group! Get out and about, meet new people and build confidence in a welcoming, inclusive environment. From games and bowling to paint & sip nights, community events, entertainment and parties, there’s always something exciting happening.

Breakfast Club

Start your Tuesday at Breakfast Club at Hildasid Cottage! Cook a nutritious breakfast using fresh farm produce, then enjoy gardening, spending time with the animals and getting active on the oval.

Ladies Social Circle

Make the most of your Saturday with Ladies Social Circle! Enjoy activities chosen by the group, from lunches and shopping to live music, local events and creative experiences. The group meets fortnightly on Saturdays and is for women aged 45 and over. Times and costs vary depending on the activity.

Social Blocks

Enjoy your Saturday with our Social Blokes Group! Get out and about in the community, attend events and make new friends in a relaxed environment. The group meets fortnightly on Saturdays and is for men aged 35 and over. Times and costs vary depending on the activity.

Guy Sebastian Concert

Join us for an unforgettable night out as we see Guy Sebastian live in Wagga Wagga on Friday, 24 October! 🎶

Follow the yellow brick road for a magical day at The Wizard of Oz! 🌈👠

On 10 October, experience this timeless story brought to life through spectacular performances, memorable music and unforgettable characters at the Wagga Wagga Civic Theatre.

Join Dorothy and her friends on an enchanting journey to the Emerald City and enjoy a fun-filled theatre experience with great company.

Camp Adventure at Hildasid Farm

Settle in for a fun-filled night of camping under the stars. 🏕️✨

Wake up on Saturday for a day of adventure, including damper making, fishing and meeting the friendly farm animals.

It’s the perfect opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, learn new skills, make new friends and create lasting memories.

Christmas Themed Dried Flower Arranging Workshop

Let your creativity bloom! 🌸 Join us for a dried flower arranging workshop at Hildasid Farm Cottage on Saturday, 7 November 2026.

Gabrielle from Rustic Summer Sisters will guide you through creating your own beautiful arrangement with dried and preserved flowers. Enjoy a little creative time and take your floral masterpiece home!
