What are Therapy Services?

Kurrajong Therapy Plus provides paediatric-focused, family-centred allied health services for children, young people and adults across Wagga Wagga and the wider Riverina.

Our experienced team of occupational therapists, speech pathologists, physiotherapists, educators, and therapy assistants work together to support meaningful participation in everyday life, at home, in early learning settings, at school and in the community.

We specialise in paediatric therapy, supporting children from early intervention through to school age and adolescence. Our approach is practical, evidence-based, and goal-driven, helping children build communication, movement, independence, social and emotional skills in ways that are engaging and relevant to their daily lives.

Services are delivered in our centres, in schools and early learning centres, in homes and community settings, and via telehealth where appropriate.

We work in close partnership with families, carers, educators, and other health professionals to ensure therapy goals are understood, consistent and achievable.

Kurrajong Therapy Plus supports NDIS participants, DSS-funded clients, with a clear and supportive intake process to help families access the right service at the right time

Children’s Services at Kurrajong

Therapy Services

We know that finding out that your child has a developmental delay or disability can be a worrying time. Our multidisciplinary team at Kurrajong Therapy Plus of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists and Educators can work with you to develop a plan to assist your child in reaching their developmental goals in a warm and nurturing environment.

So, how does this work?

  1. We believe that a child’s most important teachers are their parents and carers. Our staff will share their knowledge so you can support your child’s development in everyday situations.
  2. Kurrajong Therapy Plus will provide you with a key worker who will be your main point of contact.
  3. You will work with your key worker to develop goals for your child’s development that are based on your family’s priorities. This is called an Individual Family Service Plan.
  4. Kurrajong Therapy Plus runs a variety of group programs for families, which provide information and strategies. Group programs for children and their families allow children to develop their skills in social settings.
  5. Kurrajong Therapy Plus will provide you with information on other services in your area that could help you.
