Our Leadership Team

Chris Clark

Chief Executive Officer

Chris brings a wealth of leadership experience and strategic insight to his role as CEO of Kurrajong, with a career spanning nearly four decades across defence, corporate, and community sectors.
His tenure includes senior positions at Michael Page Australia, AT Kearney, and Manpower, followed by pivotal operational leadership roles at The Salvation Army Employment Plus, and Mission Australia.
From 2013 to 2025, he served as General Manager at OCTEC, where he championed inclusive employment initiatives and organisational growth.
Now leading Kurrajong, Chris is committed to empowering people with disability, fostering community partnerships, and driving innovation and quality in service delivery.

His diverse background and unwavering dedication make him a driving force behind Kurrajong’s mission to create a more inclusive future.

Andrew McIntosh

General Manager
Corporate Services

Andrew joined Kurrajong in August 2023, and is located at Lord Baden Powell Administration Office in Wagga Wagga.
Prior to coming to Kurrajong, Andrew previously held senior management roles in Corporate Services and Finance in both the commercial and not-for-profit sectors.
Andrew has experience in leading teams through complex projects and periods of organisational change, and enjoys working on organisational improvement.
Andrew holds a Bachelor of Business, is a CPA and JP.
Outside of work, Andrew enjoys spending time relaxing with his family.

Mathew Bertram

General Manager
Client Services

Mat joined Kurrajong in 2017 as the Marketing Manager where he managed both marketing and the First Contact department. In 2020 he moved to the role of General Manager Client Services.
Prior to coming to Kurrajong Mat worked in various marketing roles in the ICT and digital security sectors living in both Sydney and Melbourne. Mat has extensive experience managing teams and projects around the globe including Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East and the Americas.
Leaving Wagga Wagga after university for a career in IT, Mat never imagined he’d find himself living back in Wagga working in the disability sector, however believes it is the best move he’s ever made. He takes pride in the positive difference Kurrajong makes for people with disability, their families and carers, and the community as a whole.
Mat enjoys the day to day challenges of working in the ever-changing NDIS environment, and is excited by his role of helping to shape the successful future of Kurrajong.
Outside of work Mat enjoys spending time with his wife Angela and kids, River and Cleo. He also enjoys cooking a spit or a smoker, riding his mountain bike (although not often enough), tending to his bonsais and having BBQ’s with friends and family.

Michael Merrylees

General Manager
Commercial Enterprises

Michael joined Kurrajong in October 2020 and brings a wealth of experience from the Disability and Employment Services Sectors. His most recent role, 10 years as the Riverina Regional Manager with one of the larger disability service providers, gives Michael a sound understanding of contemporary Disability Operations in a local context. Prior to that Michael spent many years in the recruitment and employment services sector both here and in the UK where he was a senior consultant in a large commercial recruitment firm.
Helping people live the best life they can drives Michael to support others and create opportunities.
At home, Michael enjoys gardening and exploring the great outdoors with his family.

Sharyn Atherton

Finance and Administration Manager

Sharyn joined Kurrajong in 2005 as an Accountant and in 2007 moved into the role of Finance and Administration Manager.
When she is not at work, Sharyn enjoys spending her time being outside and doing activities such as camping and water skiing. She also enjoys spending quality time with her three grandchildren and family.

Crispin Lowe

IT Systems Manager

Crispin joined Kurrajong in February 1998 and is soon to celebrate 25 years of service.
Crispin enjoys his role at Kurrajong and looks forward to the challenges of the ever changing IT industry.

Sue Honey

Quality and Safeguards Manager

Sue had a long and diverse history with Kurrajong, originally as a Group Home Manager in the early 80s in the first children’s group homes in Wagga. She returned to the organisation in 2004 as a Training Coordinator and Project Officer before moving into Quality Assurance in 2009. Sue moved into this management role in 2021, becoming responsible for quality, compliance and risk management.
Sue passionately pursues excellence in best practice. Her particular focus is listening to clients and families and being responsive to their rights, needs and goals.
Outside of Kurrajong, Sue lives in Wagga with her partner and is a doting ‘Nanny’ to five grandchildren (and counting)! She loves to listen to Queen and Bowie, and everything to do with greyhounds is in her blood!

Michelle Merrylees

Therapy Plus Manager

Michelle is the Manager at Kurrajong Therapy Plus, located in Wagga Wagga. She leads the Therapy Plus team, supporting children, young people, and their families to reach their goals through high-quality therapy services.
She brings extensive experience in the community services sector, where she has worked for many years in a variety of roles supporting individuals, families, and teams.
Throughout her career, Michelle has managed large and diverse teams, developing a strong reputation for her leadership, commitment, and ability to build positive workplace cultures.
Since joining Kurrajong, Michelle is dedicated to ensuring Therapy Plus delivers high-quality, person-centred support that empowers children, young people, and their families to achieve their goals. She is passionate about building strong, supportive teams and fostering a positive environment where both staff and clients feel valued, respected, and empowered throughout their therapy journey.
Outside of work, Michelle loves spending time with her husband, daughter, and family. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, caravanning, sharing good food, and catching up with friends.

Caz Eckersall

Lifestyle Choices Manager

Caz is our Lifestyle Choices Manager and can be found at Hildasid Farm in Wagga.
Caz lived in Melbourne until she was 25 before making the move to Wagga to work as a support worker at Kurrajong Supported Living. Caz has worked at Kurrajong Lifestyle Choices for over 20 years and is quickly approaching 30 years in total at Kurrajong.
She enjoys working with people and developing both herself and others through her many daily interactions.

Katrina Brown

Community Engagement Manager

Katrina joined Kurrajong as the Community Engagement Manager in July 2024.Her career has been a diverse ride with management roles at ASNSW, and as a Rescue Ambulance Officer, and experience in Events Management and Weddings in Sydney.
For the past seven years, She’s also been running my own Nutrition business in Wagga, all while being a proud Mum to three ever-growing and always hungry sons.
She hold a Diploma of Business Management in Tourism, an Advanced Diploma of Paramedical Science, and a degree in Health Science, specilaising in Nutritional Medicine.
In my downtime, I love to travel, cook, go hiking with my dog Alfie, train at the gym, and spend time with my family and friends. My favourite food is anything made with love, and my music taste is eclectic—anything I can dance to!

Cannon Banks

Supported Living Manager

Cannon is our Supported Living Manager – Group Homes Wagga and is located in the cottages behind the main complex at Lord Baden Powell Drive.
Cannon has been working at Kurrajong Supported Living for 17 years! He first started as a casual support worker in 2002 whilst studying primary teaching at CSU, before moving to a full-time position.
Originally from New Zealand, Cannon migrated to Wagga as a teenager. His passions include sports and beer. He follows the All Blacks and Chiefs in Rugby, West Ham in the EPL and Celtics in the NBA.
Cannon enjoys working at Kurrajong as no 2 days are ever the same, and having a job supporting people, both clients and staff is a privilege and he will never take for granted.

Lyndal Ross

Supported Living Manager

Lyndal is our Supported Living Manager. She is based at the cottage at Lord Baden Powell Drive but manages Kurrajong services to people and their families all over the Riverina.
Lyndal has worked at Kurrajong for 21 years and has undertaken many difference roles within Supported Living over this time.
Lyndal enjoys working with our teams to provide supports to people and their families and strives to find opportunities for people to live the life they choose with supports that are individualised.

Zena Wahanui

Deniliquin Manager

Zena can be located at our Napier St Offices, Deniliquin.
Zena has worked at Kurrajong since April, 2005.
Zena enjoys her role with Kurrajong and loves that she is able to make a real difference within the local community.

Jim Seymour

Kurrajong Timber Manager

Jim is the Manager of Kurrajong Timber and has been working for Kurrajong for 10 years.
Jim is a down to earth individual and has worked in the Timber industry for over 25 years at organisations such as Softwood, Carter Holt Harvey and Woods and Forest SA.
In his leisure time Jim enjoys deep sea fishing and the occasional beer. He also enjoys AFL and supports St Kilda.
Jim really enjoys working with people who are dedicated, quality/safety focused and are proud of their work.

Deanne Bolesta

Outreach Services Manager

Deanne is our Outreach Services Manager and is based in our Pine Avenue Office in Leeton. She has been working at Kurrajong for 16 years!
Deanne worked as an enrolled nurse in a hospital setting for several years for transferring into the disability sector. She has completed formal education in Community Services Management and has worked in both Government and Non-Government Community services (disability) for over 23 years.
She is passionate about providing good quality services to people with a disability and their families. Deanne loves talking to people and hearing about personal stories and life goals.
Deanne’s favourite part of her job is talking to clients about their achievements and what makes them happy. She is grateful every day for the opportunity to work alongside each client to assist them to live the life they choose.
Deanne enjoys dancing, music and anything that makes you laugh out loud!

Mitchell Tinnock

People and Culture Manager

Mitch joined Kurrajong in 2019 and is located at the Head Office at Lord Baden Powell Drive Wagga Wagga.
Mitch studied Business at university where he found a passion for HR. Mitch loves his job at Kurrajong and enjoys being able to use the skills he has learned to make a positive difference as part of the People and Culture Team.
Outside of work Mitch enjoys playing soccer for the Lake Albert Soccer Club. He also has a keen interest in music and enjoys relaxing playing the guitar.
Favourite Food: Chinese or Fish and Chips

Norm Corcoran

First Contact Manager

Norm joined Kurrajong First Contact on the 24 June 2013 working as a casual one day a week and the remaining 4 days a week at Recyclers.
Since then Norm has progressed to become the Business Development Coordinator, the First Contact Coordinator and then the First Contact Manager on December the 14th 2019.
Norm is based at the Wagga First Contact Office in Johnston Street and can be found in the front office of the building.
After leaving High School in Griffith NSW, Norm worked in management with a major supermarket chain, this gave Norm the opportunity to live in many locations and work with a diverse range of people including people with a disability.
In January 2000 Norm moved from Sydney to Wagga and then decided to change his career path and started to look for something he was passionate about which led Norm to Kurrajong.
Norm’s favourite parts of First Contact is being able to work with all services across Kurrajong to ensure Kurrajong can navigate the NDIS efficiently and the team that he gets to work with everyday.

Jennifer Brunton

Marketing and Communication Manager

Jennie moved to Wagga in January 2023, and joined the team at Kurrajong, bringing over a decade of experience in marketing and communications across tourism, education, the arts, and non-profit sectors.
Before coming to Kurrajong, she led campaigns that significantly boosted interstate visitation, and won industry awards for digital excellence. Jennie also created and chaired the Diversity, Accessibility, and Inclusion Working Group for the South Australian Tourism Commission, driving accessible tourism initiatives, including the review, audit, and implementation of website updates, policies, and procedures, and represented South Australia on the National Accessible Tourism Working Group.
Jennie has been instrumental in developing and implementing strategies that increased brand awareness and digital engagement, and aims to drive growth and support organisational goals for Kurrajong.
She loves working for an organisation that aims to create an impact on people’s lives.
