Every week Kurrajong Lifestyle Choices client Zac participates in his animal therapy activity out at Hildasid Farm. Recently he has been taking steps towards building a great connection with Ivy the pony alongside Robyn (Ivy’s caretaker). Robyn volunteers her time to walk Ivy with the clients from Lifestyle Choices.
Zac travels every Tuesday and Thursday from Lockhart to attend Lifestyle Choices in Wagga because he loves the animals and enjoys the opportunity to walk with Ivy while being able to have a chat to Robyn.
Zac not only participates in his animal therapy activity, but he is also assisted every Tuesday to engage in volunteer work at the Wagga Wagga Railway station. At the station he helps out by stamping luggage tags, while also being able to socialise with staff members and travellers.
Zac is also developing his skills and gaining independence with cooking his own lunch each week, and enjoys participating in recreational activities, such as Laser Tag, Tenpin bowling and Cricket.
